For your face, hands, and body.

Goats → Milk
When we say our lotion is made with goat milk, we mean our goat milk.
We raise Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats at our farmstead in Saint David, Arizona. They’re not simply livestock to us. They’re part of our farm and our family, and their health and care are something we take seriously.
In the beginning, we milked our goats by hand. As our farm grew, we invested in a dedicated milking building with professional milking and milk-storage equipment.
Today, the milk that goes into our Goat Milk Lotion comes directly from goats we raise, care for, and milk ourselves.
Then we make the lotion ourselves, too.

What you get
Made with pasteurized goat milk from goats raised and milked right here at Eden’s Echo Farmstead.
Designed to spread easily and absorb beautifully without leaving your skin feeling excessively greasy.
One everyday lotion you can reach for from face to feet.
A straightforward formula built around goat milk, shea butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, and other purposeful ingredients.
We make our lotion ourselves in manageable batches rather than outsourcing production to a large manufacturer.
From milking our goats to filling and labeling the bottles, it’s done by us in Saint David, Arizona.
Ingredients
A straightforward formula made around the ingredient that started it all: our goat milk.
We wanted to create a lotion that we enjoyed using ourselves. That meant paying attention not only to what went into the bottle, but also to how it spread, how it absorbed, how our skin felt afterward, and how it smelled. Here’s what’s inside.
The goat milk in our lotion isn’t an ingredient we purchase simply so we can put “goat milk” on the bottle.
It comes from Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian goats we raise and milk ourselves at our farmstead in Saint David, Arizona.
Goat milk is the first ingredient listed in our formula.

A rich plant-derived butter included in our formula to help give the lotion its smooth, moisturizing feel.
A lightweight botanical oil that complements the richer ingredients in our formula and contributes to the lotion’s smooth, spreadable feel.
A plant-derived oil included as part of our moisturizing oil blend.
Used as part of the water-based portion of our lotion and combined with our pasteurized goat milk during the lotion-making process.
Helps bring the water-based and oil-based ingredients together into the smooth, consistent lotion you get in every bottle.
Used as part of the formulation to help create the consistency and texture of our finished lotion.
Because our lotion contains real goat milk and water, proper preservation matters. Optiphen Plus is the preservative used in our formula to help protect the integrity of the finished product.
Scents
No Added Scent
Our option for customers who don’t want an added fragrance profile.
Naked Truth doesn’t contain added essential oils for scent. Because it’s made from real ingredients, unscented doesn’t necessarily mean completely odorless.

Bright and refreshing with a clean citrus-herbal character.

It’s one of our most popular varieties and Trent’s personal favorite.

Keep an 8 oz bottle at home for everyday use, and tuck the 3.4 oz bottle into your bag when you’re headed somewhere else.
Our smaller bottle isn’t just a trial size.
At 3.4 oz, it’s TSA compliant for carry-on liquids, making it easy to take your Eden’s Echo Goat Milk Lotion along when you travel. At home, on the road, or in the air, you don’t have to leave your favorite lotion behind.
Making → Bottling → Labeling
From milking our goats to labeling the bottle, we do it ourselves.
Our Goat Milk Lotion isn’t manufactured somewhere else and shipped to us with an Eden’s Echo label.
We make it.
It begins with pasteurized milk from our own goats. The goat milk and distilled water are carefully heated while the oils, wax, and stearic acid are prepared separately.
Once both portions reach the proper temperature, they’re brought together and mixed to create the lotion.
As the mixture cools, we add our preservative and, for our scented varieties, the appropriate essential oils.
Then we fill the bottles, apply our labels, and prepare the finished lotion for our customers. All in Saint David, Arizona.
Finished batch
We’re not making thousands of bottles at a time.
Typical batch
Three dozen, across our 3.4 oz and 8 oz sizes.
A typical batch produces only about three dozen bottles across our two sizes.
That gives us the ability to stay closely connected to what we’re making, from the milk that starts the process to the bottle that eventually reaches you.
It’s a very different way of making lotion.

The story of our Goat Milk Lotion didn’t start with a business plan.
When we started our farm, two of the animals we knew we wanted were chickens and goats. We had always been intrigued by goats, so we started with five.
We didn’t bring them home because we planned to start a skincare company. We simply loved goats and were interested in learning how to use what our farm gave us to make more things ourselves.
One of the first things we learned to make was goat milk soap. At first, we made it for ourselves. Lotion became a natural extension of that.
We worked on the formula until we had something we genuinely enjoyed using. Jackie is especially particular about skincare and lotion, so during development Trent had a pretty simple standard:
If Jackie loves it, we’re doing something right.
She did. So did our customers.
What started as something we were making for ourselves eventually came with us to farmers markets. People bought it. Then they came back for more.
Our little farm venture grew into our first store in Saint David, then Benson, then Marana, and eventually an online store serving customers around the country.
Somewhere along the way, a lotion we never originally intended to sell became one of our best-selling products. There wasn’t a grand plan behind it. It was simply part of the life we were building.
Reviews
“I bought two 8oz lotions, Blood Orange and Lemon Grass, from Eden’s Echo and it is easily the best lotion I have ever used on my skin. Unlike commercial lotions that leave a slimy residue, this is a lightweight, silk formula that absorbs completely within seconds and keeps my hands and legs soft and hydrated all day long.”
